With summer upon us, it’s always nice to have an arsenal of recipes in our recipe tins to serve up to guests. Sometimes serving regular burgers can feel a little mundane, not to mention that not everyone prefers to eat red meat. But since burgers are considered “all American,” I figured I’d try to concoct a recipe that acts as a traditional burger alternative without sacrificing flavor!
These chicken quinoa burgers still satisfy that feeling of eating a burger while packing a big protein punch! You can season them any way you prefer, but the barbecue sauce really adds that fresh off the grill taste!
And the portobello mushroom cap buns? YUM! They add a nice, rich flavor to the burgers that I simply can’t resist! Add a little cheese to it…. Droooool.
